Brochures were written by the group "hygiene", members of the committee, complemented by experts where necessary. Brochures were printed for both trainers and participants in Dutch and Romanian. These brochures about personal hygiene, hygiene in the household, healthy food were subsequently used by various committees in their Romanian villages. Lessons were given in schools about dental care: toothbrushes, toothpaste, stickers were provided in the project.
There was an exchange of doctors. Medicines and medical equipment were delivered to the dispensary. The infrastructure was adapted and the hospital Caransebes was supported.
Permanent supervision of the women's and men's movement is still happening through the annual jogging of the men's movement. The orphanage Teregova also received support. A clubhouse was renovated ..
The official commissioning of the realizations of the first project was done by Minister President Luc Van den Brande (Flemish Government) in June 1997.
The Romanian government, through the county of Caras-Severin, had an important role in these realizations, even today. The project also got the full cooperation and support from the people of Slatina-Timis. The women are an important target group. Permanent trainings remain a necessity.
In July 1996 a tipper truck MAN was driven to Slatina-Timis and handed over to the local authorities. A Ford transit and garbage collection truck also found their way to Slatina-Timis.
Also, in this project the garage behind the town hall completely renewed.
While this project was completed, the Romanian state did a geological study of the region. In the park, a water source was tapped. The water is potable. First, a concrete fountain was set up, which was later replaced by a marble fountain. Now every day many jerrycans and bottles are filled here with water.
