Camp of "Akabe de Pioen", a scouting group of Geel, in Slatina-Timis : July 24^th - August 2^nd 2016

Akabe De Pioen is a scouting group for children and youngster with or without disabilities. Every two weeks, Sunday afternoon,  they are organizing an incredible mega-cool activity. Everyone, 6 - 26 years old, is welcome, with or without disability.  In this way they try to work on the theme: inclusion. 

Marie and Elise, both member of the leadership, were already in Romania. Marie did an internship at the GLT group of  Resita and Elise was 1 week in Slatina-Timis to work out a school task. They both came back with many stories from Romania and convinced their fellow leadership Akabe to organize a camp in Slatina-Timis.

Sunday, July 24^th  five participants left with a van full of luggage, tents and everything you need for a camp, the other 13 members left Tuesday by plane from Eindhoven to Timisoara.

2 Days with GLT in Slatina-Timis and in Resita: July, 27 - 28

Wednesday, July 27^th the group from Geel split itself: a part organized together with the GLT Golden Hearts of Slatina an afternoon game. During the game, an unedited story, they managed together  to clean the park and the its neighbourhood with a smile and full enthousiame. 6 Youngsters of GLT Golden Hearts, Slatina-Timis were trekking together with the scouts during 3 days from Slatina-Timis to Resita: 50kms. The van was transporting the tents and other materials as food .... to the camp sites in the nature where they were sleeping during their trip. {gallery}Akabe_3daagse{/gallery}
